Blazer Jobs is seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive school district in Avondale, Arizona, for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on helping K12 students reach their highest level of independence and success through individualized occupational therapy interventions.
As a COTA in this district, youll collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists, teachers, and support staff to deliver engaging, goal-oriented services that promote students academic participation, daily living skills, and motor development. Role Overview

Provide therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals under the supervision of a licensed OT.

Support sensory processing, fine motor development, and classroom adaptations.

Participate in student progress reviews, IEP meetings, and intervention planning.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusive learning environments.

Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with Arizona school regulations.

Qualifications

Active Arizona COTA license.

Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.

School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required.
